Airshow 2012

We have, what we think is exciting news for the Burlington area! On September 21 & 22, 2012 at the Southeast Iowa Regional Airport, a major event will be taking place that will attract thousands of people!          

 

The two day event begins on Friday with the first ever night air show in Burlington! The evening show will conclude with a spectacular firework display. On Saturday, there will be activities, events and fun for the entire family. Several outstanding performers will demonstrate their skills during the day. There will also be displays of historic aircraft as well as modern aircraft. The evening will be topped off with a 1940’s Big Band Hangar Dance & Show.

 

The entire two day event is designed to promote aviation and its many benefits. Over the years, many Burlington youths have been inspired by local air shows and as a result have gone into aviation careers. This is a win – win event for everyone in our area.
