Southeast Iowa Regional Airport Launches New Web site

Customer-friendly site makes ease of use top priority

BURLINGTON, Iowa (Oct. 24, 2008) – The Southeast Iowa Regional Airport (SIRA), will launch its new Web site on Saturday, Nov. 1.  The new site will be more user-friendly and provide easier access to more types of airport and flight information.

Users can log on to www.flybrl.com to see the latest flight information, airport news, directions to the airport, links to purchase tickets, links to accommodations, and much more.

“The new Web site provides a professional presence for us on the web.  It puts a consistent look and feel to our marketing campaign, "icing on the cake" if you will,” said Mary Beaird, Interim Airport Director.  “It is user friendly and provides the reader with pertinent information relating to the Southeast Iowa Regional Airport.  We hope to grow it into a place where our tenants and other interested parties come to for news at the airport,” said Beaird.

The new SIRA site was redesigned by Henry Russell Bruce (HRB), a strategic marketing firm with offices in Cedar Rapids and Davenport, Iowa.  “The new Web site ties to their brand identity, in addition to giving the airport a platform to provide information to the community and customers,” said Nathan Deklotz, Director of Interactive Services for HRB.  “It also has the flexibility to grow along with the airport in the future.”

The user-friendly design of the new Web site is just another way SIRA is working to make local travel more convenient and surpass customer expectations.  With shorter security lines, free adjacent parking, delivery of lost bags, personal calls for flight delays, and umbrella service on rainy days, SIRA goes the extra mile to make the customer’s travel experience unique and enjoyable.   For more information, visit www.flybrl.com.
